J Trust Royal Bank opens new design branch in capital’s Saensokh district

J Trust Royal Bank on Thursday expanded its footprint to the northern part of the capital with the soft opening of a new branch in Phnom Penh’s Saensokh district – which is located at Building NoC4, St 1003, Sangkat Phnom Penh Thmey, Khan Saensokh.

The aim is to better serve the bank’s growing customer base and their banking needs, as well as affirming its commitment to becoming the “Most Trusted Financial Partner” in the Kingdom.

Neak Oknha Kith Meng, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of J Trust Royal Bank, said the opening of Saensokh branch was a crucial landmark for the bank in reaffirming its commitment to contributing to the overall development and economic growth of Cambodia.

It also served to provide a superior customer experience, in alignment with the bank’s motto of “Customer First” to ensure customers receive simply a better service from the bank.

The Saensokh branch has opened to serve customer’s everyday banking needs differently, whether for individual, business or corporate clients.

The interior design of the branch’s premier banking service lounge provides a sophisticated ambience in which to serve premier customers with financial solutions, with a dedicated and professional relationship manager as the single point of contact.

J Trust Royal Bank is a joint venture between J Trust Co Ltd – a Japanese diversified financial holding company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange – and the Royal Group of Companies, one of Cambodia’s largest conglomerates.

The design of the new branch not only emphasises J Trust Royal Bank’s corporate identity, but is also inspired by the richness of Cambodia’s Kbach Phka Chan tradition combined with Japanese culture.

The exterior and interior design concepts thus represent the growth and success of the partnership.

J Trust Royal Bank CEO Toru Myochin said: “The soft opening of the Saensokh branch is testament to the bank’s confidence in the Kingdom’s financial sector despite the recent community outbreak of Covid-19.

“There have been no disruptions to any services as the bank has in place prudent continuity plans to ensure the continuance of business while maintaining the necessary hygiene measures across its operations as per the guidelines from the Ministry of Health.

“The safety and wellbeing of customers and staff is our top priority.”

With 15 branches and more than 500 employees across the country, J Trust Royal is among Cambodia’s largest foreign banks, one with an over-arching commitment to providing world-class financial services to Cambodians and expatriates across the Kingdom.
