CAMBODIA will export organic rice to the United States for the first time this week, the president of the Cambodian Centre for Study and Development in Agriculture (CEDAC) said Monday. Yang Saing Koma told a press conference: “We hope that … we can expand future export to the US.” Wolfgang Mollers, Cambodia director of DED, part of the German Development Cooperation, a mostly state-financed organisation helping the Kingdom produce and market its organic rice, said “Cambodia has the potential to play an important role in Asian markets”.
