SECC signs deal for better governance

Cambodia's securities regulator signed a memorandum of understanding with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) yesterday for technical assistance on corporate governance standards and practices in the Cambodian capital market.

The agreement will assist the Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia (SECC) in developing a roadmap to strengthen the policy and business governance practices of listed companies in Cambodia in order to improve transparency and increase the confidence for investors in the capital market, the release read.
