AUSTRALIAN mining company Southern Gold has found gold veins of more than 1 kilometre in length at its Snoul site in Kratie province, according to the firm’s June quarter update. Southern Gold owns four Cambodian exploration licences outright and another three with JOGMEC, an organisation charged with securing a stable supply of oil and natural gas to Japan. Its share price closed down A$0.01 to $0.69 on the Australian Stock Exchange.
