Sovannaphum Life Assurance Plc begins New Year with ‘We are #1 in 2023’ focus

Sovannaphum Life Assurance Plc – the leading life insurance company in Cambodia with financial strength and trust – kicked off the New Year with an event carrying the theme “We are #1 in 2023”.

The sales event took place on January 14 at Dara Airport Hotel in Phnom Penh, with more than 400 staff from across the Kingdom in attendance.

During his opening remarks, Sovannaphum Life CEO Loke Kah Meng presented the key achievements in 2022 and the top priorities for 2023, followed by a declaration of the commitment and strategies of the Channel and Division heads to achieve the targets for the coming year.

“Among the many key achievements, Sovannaphum Life achieved the market leadership position in the first three quarters of 2022. Secondly, we also attained profitability for two consecutive years in 2021 and 2022.

“The other key highlights of the year were running our sixth anniversary campaign by offering Sovannaphum Life-branded parasols to local business owners in 12 provinces throughout Cambodia, and the Family Fun Bike event in collaboration with Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation [OCIC].

“We raised funds of more than $6,000, which were donated to two organisations – Sipar Cambodia in Phnom Penh and Angkor Hospital for children in Siem Reap. In October 2022, Sovannaphum Life officially launched a new bancassurance partnership with SBI Ly Hour Bank to extend financial protection to its customers.

“In recognition of the hard work and dedication of Sovannaphum Life staff, more than 121 certificates of recognition were awarded for ‘Champion of the Year’, ‘Top Performers of the Year’ and the ‘5-Year Loyalty Award’ to our staff, including agency members and bancassurance executives from all our bank partners throughout the country,” said Loke Kah Meng.
