BILATERAL trade between Cambodia and Thailand dropped 27.87 year on year during the first 10 months of 2009, according to Thai Customs Department figures. Thailand exported US$1.274 billion to Cambodia, down 27.92 percent year on year, and Cambodia’s exports dropped 26.68 percent to $54.52 million. Thailand exported mainly petroleum products, consumer goods, cosmetics and building materials, while Cambodia sold its neighbour agricultural products, recyclable metal, and second-hand garments.
