TNT Express profit falls

PROFIT at transport and logistics firm TNT Express Worldwide fell 8.5 percent in the year’s first half to US$196 million, compared with the same period last year, according to results released yesterday. Meanwhile, revenue climbed 9.6 percent to US$3.621 billion for the period, compared with the same period of 2009. The Amsterdam-listed firm first extended its road shipping network into Cambodia during May last year.
