Duo take gov’t gas price cuts to a new extreme

The government’s recently mandated gas-price cuts clearly weren’t enough for two men in Banteay Meanchey, who engineered their own special discount on Sunday.

Police said the duo drove into Poipet town and filled up their car for a cool $60. Unfortunately, the bills they used were fake, a fact the attendant failed to realise until they were pulling away.

As he shouted for help, a nearby motodop gave chase, but only managed to kick the vehicle. Police are investigating security camera footage. DEUM AMPIL
