Duped motodop stuck holding the bag in theft

An innocent motodop was almost caught up in a con artist’s scam in Kampong Cham’s Chamkar Leu district on Saturday.

Police said the man had taken a customer, posing as a motorbike broker, to the home of someone selling a $1,500 motorbike.

After some bargaining, the man asked to take a test drive, but immediately sped away. The moto’s owner detained the motodop, thinking him in on the ruse, but police ultimately freed him.

The suspect was caught the next day. KOH SANTEPHEAP
