On 28 November 2018 at house of Japan Ambassador to Cambodia, birthday celebration of Japan Emperor Akihito, who will be 85 years old on 23 December, was attended by Bin Chhin, deputy Prime Minister, Minister in charge of Council of Ministers and national and international distinguished guests.

Hidehisa Horinouchi, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia, said that today is a very meaningful because this year is the 30th anniversary of the coronation of the emperor and this is the last birthday celebration of Akihito as the emperor too. He continued that the Japan Emperor will abdicate on 30th April next year and Naruhito, the crown prince, will be crowned on 1st May 2019. Photo by Hong Menea
