On Friday, Casa by Meridian condominium on Koh Pich launched the first-ever flexi plan in Cambodia known as lease-to-own, a convenient property-ownership plan that enables an individual, family or business owner to take acquisition of a unit by first leasing the property and subsequently within three years, exercise an option to purchase the unit at today’s price. And, the three years’ rent paid would be used as part of the payment for the purchase. The plan allows a person, family or business to lease the space first for 3 years and enjoy growing their business from there. After which time, they can exercise the option to purchase the unit at today‘s price. All the rent that they had paid for the three years would be treated as part payment for the purchase. Ko Sek Yan, CEO and co-founder of MIH said, “CASA by Meridian which was originally scheduled for completion later in 2017 will be completed and ready for delivery by April, 2017, three months ahead of time”.
