From april 19 to 21, Fi Asia organised the “Fi Asia-Asean F&B Media Campaign”, a three-day program to visit factories that produce food and beverages in Bangkok and its surrounding provinces. The objective was to provide opportunities for journalists and editors of food-related magazines in Asean to experience up close the dynamic growth of Thailand’s food and beverage market, including makers of ingredients used to produce food and beverages. Trade show organiser UBM also conducted its first press conference for Fi Asia 2017 during the media visit to officially announce the upcoming activities of Fi Asia for this year. The Fi Asia 2017 exhibit, set for September, will highlight food ingredient products as well as technologies and innovations for the food beverage industry. In its 22nd edition, the international exhibition will be joined by over 750 companies from 56 countries worldwide that will showcase their products for the food and beverage industry.
