Caviar & Traditions, a new luxury French brand importing caviar, champagne and others gourmet products from France, held its elegant launch event at Sofitel hotel in Phnom Penh on Tuesday. Okhnas, ministry officials and others VIP were invited to savour a five-course gourmet dinner. The dishes, which included oysters fine de claire d’oleron, scallop carpaccio, Mekong lobster, cod fillet, roasted French pigeon and risotto were each accompanied by caviar. Bernard Matter and his two associates, Prince Pheanuroth Sisowath and businessman Etienne Chenevier, told guests that they “are selling the world best-known caviar from Caspian Sea or Black Sea, distributed by the French brand Comptoir du Caviar”.
