The National Fire Academy of Cambodia (NFAC) launched a new initiative in Phnom Penh on February 16 to address fire safety hazards in the Kingdom. Almost 60 people from various sectors attended the seminar and obtained certification to become fire safety wardens. NFAC trained those in attendance in the proper use of fire extinguishers, what to do in the event of an evacuation, how to determine points of assembly and plan escape routes, as well in how best to respond to emergencies.
