Phnom Penh Post - Pleng Music Awards’ ‘Content Creator of the Year’ voting to raise funds for children’s hospitals

Smart Axiata’s Pleng Music Awards 2022 has introduced a special category –”Content Creator of the Year 2022” – to raise funds for the Kantha Bopha Foundation and the Angkor Hospital for Children. Smart Axiata will donate $2 for each vote, with $1 going to the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation and the other $1 to the Angkor Hospital for Children, with donations capped at a maximum $100,000. Audiences can vote for their favourite social media content creator during the campaign. The top 10 candidates among 28 will be selected from the number of votes from March 10-18, with voting held on March 19 to select the winners. The Pleng Music Awards were created to support, encourage and celebrate the work and achievements of Cambodian singers and songwriters whose songs are available on the Pleng app.
