The Phnom Penh Post last Thursday kept up its annual tradition of welcoming in the Khmer New Year with the holding of a party, as staff enjoyed food and drink, music and dancing. Coinciding with the end of the harvest season, and in Khmer known Choul Chnam Thmey – “Enter New Year” – the joyous festival this year falls from April 14 -16.
