SCG SHOWCASED innovations in building materials and living technology under the concept “Discover Your Next by SCG Experience” at the annual Architect’16 event. The company defied limitations in cement innovation with the “SCG Y-BOX Pavilion, 21st Century Cave”, ASEAN’s first 3D-printed cement structure, standing more than three metres tall. At the event, visitors to the SCG Experience booth also discovered home and living products made specifically for the elderly, tiles with outstanding world-class designs, and product innovations that address the needs of customers. Architect’16 was held from April 26 through May 1 at Challenger Hall, Impact, Muang Thong Thani. These products are displayed in a “Whole House Friendly Elderly Living Environment”, showing the level of care involved in the selection of the right products and equipment, and the proper installation, for bathrooms, bedrooms, staircases and pathways outside the house itself. These are the areas that present the highest risk of fall for seniors. The world’s latest marble innovation under the name Geolux, artificial marble with patterns as exquisite as real marble, was also unveiled.
