Westview Cambodian International School organized its first STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) roadshow to raise awareness about the significance of the subjects among young students.
The school wants to encourage students to focus on subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology, which can be beneficial for their future career.
Parents also had an opportunity to attend a workshop titled “How to Prepare Your Child for Academic Success” which was presented by Ms. Melissa Ream, the school’s academic principal and licensed teacher with 15 years teaching experience from USA.
The event was held at the school’s new state-of-the-art campus, located next to the elementary campus of Learning Jungle International School, on 4 May, 2019.
Westview Cambodian is a great extension to secondary education of Learning Jungle International School Cambodia, which has been offering quality education at preschool and elementary levels for about five years.
The school was established to provide an international secondary (Grades 7-12) curriculum that was developed by combining American Common Core Standards and the Khmer program, which is fully recognized and licensed by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
