We wish to invite applications for the following positions:

  Assistant Head School Nurse   Responsibilities: • Communicate directly with the administration team regarding urgent matters, in the absence of the Head School Nurse. • Provide medical first aid services in the absence of the Head School Nurse according to standing orders. • Assess injuries and notify the Head School Nurse of injuries requiring medical care or immediate absence from school. Complete school accident report requiring the Head School Nurse’s signature. • Organize and manage stock within secondary and elementary clinics, order supplies from approved vendors with Head School Nurse’s approval and address supply issues or needs when concerns arise. • Provide assistance, clarifications, and decisions for Assistant Nurses in regards to non-urgent clinic visits • Maintain first aid kits on campus and provide basic first aid care for injured and ill students • Communicate with parents and Faculty’s Offices on student health concerns • Oversee documentation and communication procedures for elementary and secondary clinic   Requirements: • Degree or Certificate in Nursing • Minimum two (2) years experience in Nursing or Public Health Care preferably with children • Experience in an English speaking environment, preferably in international school • Experience in an administrative support position • Fluent in written and spoken English • Effective time management and task prioritization • Strong comprehension and adherence to policy/procedure • Strong communication skills • Ability to problem solve effectively   Assistant School Nurse Responsibilities: • Ensure that medical equipment is functioning properly as directed by School Nurse • Communicate regularly and proactively with the school nurse and other staff members • Maintain confidentiality regarding student, staff or family health issues • Provide basic first aid care for injured and ill students • Be available for special events as necessary (sporting, community etc.)   Requirements: • Degree or Certificate in Nursing • Minimum two (2) years experience in Nursing or Public Health Care preferably with children • Experience in an English speaking environment, preferably in international school. • Fluent in written and spoken English • Effective time management and task prioritization • Strong comprehension of policy/procedure • Adherence to policy/procedure   Application including CV and Covering Letter shall be submitted via email to [email protected] attention to Human Resources Manager.
