JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

  The UN Secretary-General’s bold new global reform, repositioning the UN Development System to deliver on the 2030 Agenda for dignity, prosperity and peace on a healthy planet, was launched on 1 January 2019. As part of this process, the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office in Cambodia is seeking qualified and experienced candidates vfor the following two new National Professional positions:   •Development Coordination Officer/Economist (Contract Type: Fixed Term Appointment, Grade: NO-C) •Associate Development Coordination Officer, Data Management and Results Monitoring/Reporting (Contract Type: Fixed Term Appointment, Grade: NO-B)   The core required capacity of the positions, respective to the separate Job Profiles, include expertise in economic, evidence-based analysis, policy innovations, results monitoring and evaluation, and strategic partnerships, including the ability to communicate effectively both to partners and within the United Nations country team.   These posts are part of a new generation of UN Resident Coordinator Offices under the leadership of the UN Resident Coordinator, the highest-ranking representative of the United Nations Development System and the Secretary-General at country level.
