Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer
(1 Position) to be based inPhnom Penh.
Job Summary: The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer will contribute to the development and implementation of the assigned project monitoring and evaluation systems, supporting in the accountability and learning activities. Under the supervision of the MEAL Specialist II, the MEAL Officer will work with project staff and project partners to document project activities, communicate project successes to relevant stakeholders, prepare timely and accurate reports for dissemination in and outside of CRS, and provide technical support to staff and partners. Job Responsibilities: • Provides input to MEAL system design and review discussions • Supervises quality data collected on paper and/or via digital MEAL tools on a timely basis • Reviews data inputted into database for quality • Communicates key project information and results with community members and colleagues • Contributes to reflective community-based conversations on ongoing project interventions • Shares insights and perspectives based on observations and interactions with community members, colleagues and stakeholders • Supports field-level implementation of community feedback mechanisms under the guidance of a more senior MEAL or program staff Education and Experience • At least 3 years of experience relevant to job responsibilities plus • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Development or relevant fields • General knowledge of technical principles and concepts in MEAL • Knowledge of program design requirements and regulations of major donors. • Knowledge of project design and proposal development. • Knowledge of latest technological tools that have the potential to be applied in development and emergencies program • Strong English writing skills. • Proficient in MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Web Conferencing Applications, knowledge-sharing networks.Details Job description are available via www.bongthom.com/jobs Interest candidate should submit their CV and covering letter, on or before 30th June 2019 To CRS recruitment email: [email protected], or send to CRS Cambodia Office: Emerald Building # 64, Preah Norodom Blvd, Corner Street 178, Sangkat Cheychumneas, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
