Operations Analyst

  The World Bank office in Cambodia is looking for dynamic, committed, excellent English writing, and capable individuals to work as Operations Analyst for Cambodia Country Office. The position will be based in Phnom Penh and report to the Country Manager and will be an integral member of the Cambodia’s front office team. This is a locally recruited position with a 2-year contract with possible renewable term appointment.   The Operations Analyst (OA) will work closely with task teams at every stage of the project cycle and on all Bank’s instruments, supporting Advisory Services & Analytics (ASA), Lending Programs, Trust Funds (TFs), operations and portfolio monitoring across the Cambodia portfolio. The OA will contribute to preparation and supervision of projects, including the drafting, reviewing and processing of operational documents. Her/his main duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following: carries out substantive research and analytical tasks on a wide range of operational, country and sector issues, reviews and interprets information/data, identifies issues and recommends actions/solutions, analyzes projects at completion, comparing actual financial and economic results with those projected at appraisal, drafts reports presenting key findings and lessons learned during implementation by both the borrower and the Bank, responsible for drafting sections of the loan package documentation and guiding clients in the preparation of the project operational manual, drafts relevant sections of the Project Appraisal Report, Project Implementation Plan (PIP) and other loan documentation.   Details(vacancy req3614) job descriptions and selection criteria are available in the World Bank Careers website:​ www.worldbank.org/en/about/careers All applications must be submitted through this website.
