The Australian Embassy is seeking applications for a Receptionist and Consular/Passports support officer. At least one vacancy will be filled through this process, with suitable candidates merit listed for future vacancies.
The Receptionist and Consular/Passports support officer will provide reception duties for visitors to the Embassy, receive and connect all incoming callers to the relevant section in the Embassy. The incumbent will support the Passports and Consular Team by assist with providing passport and consular support to Australian citizens. Receive and receipt revenue for Passport Fees and Consular Fee in accordance with the financial delegations. The incumbent will also assist Executive Assistant to the Head of Mission in liaison with Khmer nationals including host government and private sector organisations on protocol issues, in addition to maintaining contact lists for relevant organisations.
This position is available immediately, and after an initial three-month probationary period, the successful candidate may be offered a 24-month contract, with the possibility of renewal and ultimately permanent employment.
The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications, or knowledge and experience in client focused environment, sound organization skill and attention to detail.
The candidate should be fluent in spoken and written English and Khmer and have a good knowledge of MS Office applications.
A competitive salary package is offered, including participation in a performance management and bonus scheme. The basic monthly salary range for the position is USD642 to USD785.
