Kratie thief’s ambition leads to his undoing

Greed undid what appeared to be a successful moto theft on Saturday in Kratie town. Police said the 28-year-old suspect had jumped on an untended moto outside a market and taken off without a hitch, only to see a crime of opportunity.

As he escaped, he spied a woman wearing a necklace and decided to double down, swooping in to make the snatch. Unfortunately for him, the woman fought back and sent him tumbling to the ground. He was easy prey for arriving police and quickly fessed up. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
