‘Sorcerer’s’ killer jailed

Kampong Speu Provincial Court yesterday sentenced two men to 11 years in prison and payment of 12 million riel [about US$3,000) each to the family of a man they murdered last year.

The two convicts murdered 73-year-old Sin Khoeun in October last year because they suspected he was a sorcerer and was using black magic.

Their lawyer said her clients had appealed the verdict.
