Phnom Penh municipal police impounded 65 motorbikes and six cars on April 2 for travelling in violation of the 8pm-5am curfew, with the drivers required to self-quarantine for 14 days at home.

Municipal police spokesman San Sokseyha told The Post on April 3 the vehicles would only be returned after the quarantine.

In enforcing the two-week curfew, which will last through April 14, Sokseyha said exemption is only granted to those with a letter from their employers proving their night shifts or as permitted by the authorities.
