A new study by the Asian Development Bank, released to coincide with World AIDS Day

on December 1, has warned that Cambodia is the country worst hit by the epidemic

in Asia. At 2.6 percent of the population, Cambodia now has the highest per capita

prevalence of the AIDS-causing Human Immuno-deficiency Virus (HIV) in Asia. People

from around 190 countries commemorated World AIDS Day.
