According to a new report by World Wide Fund for Nature, over a thousand new species have been discovered in the Greater Mekong Region of Southeast Asia, which includes Cambodia, over the last decade. From 1997 to 2007, 1,068 species were discovered, "further highlighting the region's immense biodiversity", a press release said.
