Chem Widhya, the Cambodian Ambassador to Germany, signed the statute of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) on Thursday, making Cambodia the 94th state to sign the agreement. IRENA, established in Bonn, Gernamy, in January, intends to become the driving force in promoting a rapid transition towards the widespread and sustainable use of renewable energy on a global scale.
