Former Phnom Penh police chief Heng Pov will be back in court today to appeal a 2006 murder conviction for which he received 18 years in prison, said Kao Soupha, Heng Pov's lawyer. The former top cop has already been sentenced to more than 90 years in prison. Kao Soupha said Heng Pov told him he would not challenge his recent illegal human detention conviction.
