Five
hundred people are expected to participate today in marking the 12th
anniversary of the 1997 grenade attacks that occurred during a rally in
Phnom Penh, leaving at least 16 dead and more than 100 injured,
according to Yim Sovann, an SRP spokesman and lawmaker, adding that
representatives from the US and German embassies had also been invited
to the memorial ceremony.
