Three men have been arrested on suspicion of robbing two gold shops in Prey Veng province’s Preah Sdech commune. Provincial police Chief Prach Rim said five men robbed the gold shop at Kampong Soeng market and made off by car to Svay Rieng province, and that police apprehended three of them en route. He said the suspects were part of a gang of bandits based in Kandal province and Phnom Penh. The men have been sent to the department of penal police at the Ministry of Interior for further investigation.
