The Ministry of Health on April 18 reported another 624 Covid-19 cases linked to the February 20 community outbreak.

The ministry also recorded two more deaths from the disease though it did not provide further details, bringing the toll to 45.

The latest patients include nine Chinese nationals with the rest being Cambodian.

Phnom Penh recorded the most cases at 465, followed by Preah Sihanouk at 144, Takeo at 10, Svay Rieng at three, and one each in Kampong Cham and Pursat.

The ministry also reported 48 recoveries linked to the February 20 outbreak.

As of April 19, Cambodia had recorded a total of 7,013 Covid-19 cases, with 4,439 receiving ongoing treatment and 45 confirmed fatalities.
