The Ministry of Health on April 21 reported another 303 cases linked to the February 20 community outbreak.

The ministry also recorded five new deaths from the disease though it did not provide further details, bringing the toll to 54.

Of the new 303 active cases, three are Chinese nationals and the rest are Cambodian.

Phnom Penh recorded the most cases at 248, followed by Kandal at 26, Preah Sihanouk at 19, Takeo at eight and two in Kampot.

The ministry also reported 239 recoveries linked to the February 20 outbreak.

As of April 21, Cambodia had recorded a total of 7,747 Covid-19 cases with 4,893 receiving ongoing treatment and 54 confirmed fatalities.
