Chea Sim, Chairman of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), is recovering in a Bangkok
hospital after suffering a stroke at his home on October 21. The stroke caused Sim,
67, who is also President of the Cambodian Senate, to cancel a scheduled October
23-27 visit to China.
