AN international joint symposium on corruption starts today in Phnom Penh, headed by Geo-Sung Kim, the vice chairman of the Korean Association for Corruption Studies and a Board Member of graft watchdog Transparency International. According to a statement issued last week, the symposium will discuss corruption in the context of economic and social development. Om Yentieng, head of the newly formed Anticorruption Unit, is expected to attend.
