A 17-YEAR-OLD construction worker was charged with the rape of an eight-year-old girl on Saturday at Phnom Penh Municipal Court. Deputy chief of the Sen Sok District Police, Cheav Vibol, said that Loeur Lonh was accused of raping the girl after she returned home to collect smoked fish for a party on Thursday. The rape is said to have occurred in Teuk Thla commune. He is also suspected of raping the girl on three previous occasions.
