As of Thursday morning, another nine Covid-19 patients have recovered, but one more was declared positive, the Ministry of Health said.

The latest victim is a 58-year-old Cambodian man, staying in a hotel in Preah Sihanouk province.

The ministry said he is a manager in the hospitality industry and had direct contact with French tourists in Sihanoukville who were found to be infected with the disease.

With Thursday's tally, the total number of those who recovered has increased to 34, with only 74 currently hospitalised out of a total 110 victims – 30 women and 80 men – who have been declared Covid-19 positive.

The ministry said the latest nine who recovered include a Cambodian in Siem Reap, a Belgian in Phnom Penh, and seven Frenchmen in Sihanoukville.
