Men play a vital role in reducing rates of domestic violence, Ministry of Women’s Affairs Secretary of State Si Dephin said yesterday at a domestic violence conference in the capital. More than 350 men attended the Cambodian Men’s Network Assembly, which aimed to involve men more deeply in reducing violence against women. “Violence against women and children cannot be eliminated without men’s participation,” Rous Sopheap, president of Gender and Development for Cambodia, told the conference.
