Ethnic Kreung Teen Raped in Ratanakkiri

Authorities in Ratanakkiri province's Kon Mom district are on the lookout for a suspect who raped a 13-year-old ethnic Kreung girl last Friday.

The identity of the suspect remained unknown as the case is still under investigation, even amid a number of underage rapes in the province.

The victim told police that she was walking past a recyclables collector when he pulled her into the forest and raped her.

According to provincial office human rights NGO Adhoc, there have been four cases of underage rape and murder in Ratanakiri province.
