MORE than five tonnes of wood was confiscated in Kampong Speu province on Friday. Yos Dina, military police chief in Phnom Sruoch district, said the wood was seized at a rice warehouse in Taing Sya commune. “Smugglers might take this wood from other provinces and stock it at this warehouse,” he said. A forestry official, who wished to remain nameless, said that an investigation was continuing.
