Four dead from crash

A TOTAL of four people were killed and three others seriously injured when a car struck a woman and a motodop before rolling into a food store yesterday morning in Siem Reap town. District traffic police said the male driver allegedly responsible for the accident was arrested after he tried to flee the scene. Eye witnesses said the suspect was clearly intoxicated, however police were unable to confirm this because the suspect was sent directly to the hospital for his injuries. Three other people who were seriously injured in the accident were also hospitalised.
