Phnom Penh municipal governor Khuong Sreng has designated four more villages in Tuol Kork district's Boeung Kak II and Boeung Salang communes as Red and Orange zones.

According to his decision announced late on April 29, villages 17 and 22 in Boeung Kak II commune are now included in orange zone, while Village 23 in the commune and Village 10 in Boeung Salang commune are parts of the red zone.

The decision, aimed at curbing the spread of Covid-19, will take effect on April 30 midnight through May 5.

The governor has since April 27 designated nine communes in five districts as Red Zone, 41 communes in 14 districts as Yellow Zone and 66 communes in 13 districts as Orange Zone.
