ICT expo opens in Phnom Penh

ICT expo opens in Phnom Penh

International Data Group Indochina are holding an ICT exhibition from

April 4-6 at the Mondial Center in Phnom Penh. “Cambodia ICT and

Telecommunication World Expo 2008” will include displays of new digital

IT products. Twenty-five companies are expected to participate,

including VNPT, Online and Angkor Net. “We want all Cambodian people to

know more about information technology because there are only about

five percent who know,” said event coordinator Chhoun Angkea Pheakdey.

The expo is designed to showcase goods for the country’s industrial,

corporate and consumer markets, as well as provide an opportunity for

international companies to develop relationships with Cambodia’s ICT
