King Norodom Sihanouk is responding well to cancer treatment and is expected to return

from China sooner than expected, according to First Premier Prince Norodom Ranariddh.

He said the monarch would probably return in April or May at the latest.

King Sihanouk said last month he would not be able to return until June, adding he

would need six cycles of chemotherapy and possibly radiotherapy for cancer of the

prostate.

He is being treated by Chinese doctors in Beijing.
