Koh Kong provincial governor Mithona Phouthong has decided to impose a two-week curfew and other restrictions in Khemarak Phoumin town and Mondol Seima and Sre Ambel districts to curb the spread of Covid-19.

According to the curfew order, effective July 11-25, travel is forbidden from 9pm to 4am, except for emergencies, in which case a permit from the local authorities is required. Public and private medical personnel are exempted.

“Food and beverage-related businesses can only accept takeaway orders and must not allow customers to dine on the premises,” she said.

All gatherings, especially for eating and drinking, are also temporarily banned.
