Siem Reap provincial court on Sunday charged a 25-year-old man with aggravated premeditated murder in connection with the gruesome killings of three women last week. On January 10, several suspects entered an isolated grocery store in Wat Svay village and used a meat cleaver to slit the throats of an 80-year-old woman, her daughter and her 19-year-old granddaughter. Mak Sam Oun, Siem Reap town deputy police chief, said police apprehended Neng Moeun, 25, on Friday based on evidence provided by the victims’ relatives.
