Minister of Tourism Thong Khon said thousands of young people, households and tourism-related businesses have directly benefited from the Ecole d’Hotellerie et de Tourisme Paul Dubrule, a hospitality and tourism school which came from the heart and generosity of Paul Dubrule and his family.
Thong Khon made the remarks while attending a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Siem Reap school on December 1, according to the provincial administration.
The post announced that to date, Dubrule and his family have donated more than $9 million and raised more than $ 6million from donors.
Khon praised the leaders of the relevant ministries and institutions in the ASEAN region who have contributed to the training of ASEAN standards of more than 6,000 students.
In the first 10 months of 2022, Cambodia had received more than 1.57 million international tourists, a whopping 881 per cent increase over the same period last year. More than 10.86 million domestic tourists travelled the country, an increase of 234 per cent over the same period in 2021.
