A patient has his tonsils
removed Wednesday by a team of US Army surgeons working with Cambodian
surgeons at the Children's Surgical Center in Phnom Penh. The American
medical team is in Cambodia for nine days for the Sight, Sound and
Smile Medical Mission, which provides free operations for poor
Cambodians suffering from sight and hearing loss, head and neck tumours
or facial disabilities such as cleft palates.
