A United States federal appeals court has extended the prison sentence of a man convicted of sexually assaulting dozens of girls in Cambodia and distributing their photos on the internet. The Orlando Sentinel reported Friday that William Irey, 53, will now serve the maximum 30-year sentence for his crimes, after prosecutors appealed the 17-and-a-half-year sentence handed down in 2007. The judges said Irey created “some of the most graphic and disturbing child pornography that has ever turned up on the internet”.
